CISS 2025 ICS CTF
This summer we participated in the CISS 2025 ICS CTF, organized by iTrust, the SUTD, and the Singapore DIS. It was a great experience for us and allowed us many insights into the world of ICS security. In the following, you can find our write-ups for the challenges we solved. While the challenges came in groups, we decided to also write one note for each group.
We were super happy that we managed 1st place in the CTF out of 72 teams.
Also, we want to thank the organizers for allowing us to participate with several teams. Therefore, we were able to join with our core team, where we met on-site at our university for an intense two days, while also allowing less experienced players to join remotely from home or work on CTF challenges for the first time in separate teams.
Many thanks go to Prof. Dr. Peter Trapp, who helped us again organize our participation in the CTF at the University of Applied Sciences Munich. We also want to thank the organizers of the CTF for their great work and the opportunity to participate in this event.
